Order Processing Updates:

There are currently no delays in the processing of federally-supplied vaccine requests. Received requests are promptly reviewed, approved and processed by the VFC Program’s Customer Service Center. As of Thursday, March 16, 2023, McKesson has resumed regular shipping of all VFC vaccine orders.
 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, UPS has temporarily adjusted their signature guidelines for all shipments within the United States.  Signatures may not be required, meaning vaccine orders may be left unattended at provider offices or delivered.

 

Regular Vaccine Supply Information:

Until further notice, CDC has instituted temporary ordering controls to mitigate a potential supply constraint for Td vaccine. Once our allocation is exceeded for the month, Td vaccine will be unavailable to order until our allocation is refreshed the following month. Please remember to order and administer Tdap instead of Td whenever possible.

As of March 6, 2023, ROTARIX (NDC 58160-0854-52, a vial and oral dosing applicator) is discontinued and no longer available. However, ROTARIX (NDC 58160-0740-21, an oral dosing applicator only presentation) is available to order.

As of June 2, 2022, Menactra has been discontinued and is no longer available. However, Menveo and MenQuadfi are available to order.

As of April 18, 2022, Pneumococcal 20-valent (Prevnar 20) is now available.

 

Influenza Vaccine Supply Information: 

July 3, 2023: The California Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program has now closed ordering for the 2022-2023 influenza season as of June 9, 2023. Influenza vaccines for the 2022-2023 season should have an expiration date of June 30, 2023. If you still have influenza doses in inventory, please follow the instructions for returning expired vaccines.

IMPORTANT: If your clinic will be closed, please notify the VFC Program immediately at 1-877-243-8832 to prevent any shipping incidents that could lead to vaccine waste.
